Gallery of Illustration

Along with commissioned portraits and Aimée’s florals and still-lifes, the Ortlips accepted many commercial assignments–streetcar placards, advertisements, and covers for magazines like The Christian Herald, Collier’s, and The Literary Digest.
The couple often collaborated, signing such projects simply “Ortlip.”  The Gallery of Illustration is a sampling of their work.
